Whether or not a big guy is a net positive at varying stages of team developement is another discussion. When I first saw the change it made me think of a less punishing bloodlust for vamps. Though I haven't begun to analyze it with much depth as of yet. What Animal Savagery brings to the rogre, in my opinion, is consistency. Stack on the fact you can guarantee block onto him now as first skill through the new leveling system, and you have a rogre worth taking by my estimations. A system that allows the Rogre to be active any turn you want. What you gain for that risk is a guarantee. I think I'm willing to risk a 1/100 chance to potentially injure one of my linerats, AND its not mandatory if you don't mind risking tacklezones!
So under a 3% chance you remove your own rat including knockout, the odds of injury at a mere 1.16% (16.7% of 6.96). 16.7% for the 1, then an 8+ to break armor (mb does not apply as its not a block), then an 8+ for a removal. On a 2+ blitz or block the chance of removing a rat from your own side is actually slightly under 3%. A chance of punching your own team?! Isn't that terrible?! What a nerf! Well. There are numerous Mixed opinions on new animal savagery abound, and what it means for rogre and other potential big guys. if next to no one, no effect except loses tackle zone and activation ends."
